Join the Philly Bellydance Community for a fun day of shopping, swapping, eating, laughing, and talking, followed by a hafla! Bring your favorite pot luck dish, and sell not just your old costumes, but feel free to bring your fabric hoard, clothes you no longer wear, and whatever else is lurking in a closet, filling room that could be used for new costumes. Feel free to bring your own clothing racks or folding tables if you have them. Bring flyers for your classes and upcoming events, and get ready to meet some fantastic people from our local bellydance community.
For the cost of admittance you can sell whatever you bring during the Shop and Swap, which will take place during the first few hours (2-4pm). Then we'll all break down the tables and set up the chairs for the hafla (4:30-6:30pm). There will be a limited number of spaces for vendors in the back who will be able to continue selling from their tables during the hafla. This costs an additional fee and is reserved for professional vendors.
Cost $10 cash only, at door, kids 10 years old and under free with adult.
Pot Luck and BYOB.
*We must be out of the building by 7pm, so clean up will begin at 6:30pm. Many hands makes light work, so anyone who can help us break down tables and chairs and clean up will be very appreciated! We're able to keep these events affordable because everyone pitches in.
The complete list of dancers is soon to come! Performers include Shushanna, Tribe Mayabelles, Brenda Nogales, Zahra Noor, Amalia, Ak-Ana, Daughters of the Hip, Alia Saleem, Calixta Starr, Ariyah and Hassania!

Dance Mojo: They have numerous items in all sizes to sell, including hip scarves, crop tops, veils, zills, CDs, DVDs, harem pants, tribal pants, skirts, full costumes, and even fire and hula dance costuming and props.
Parking: Check street signs for when parking is metered. If you can't find street parking, there are many nearby parking lots. For your convenience, here's a Google Map of parking lots near the Philly Hafla! Garage rates can range from $5 to $30. This parking rate website can tell you who has the best prices.
*Shushanna Productions encourages exposing children to cultural events like Philly Hafla, but we're not responsible for watching your children. Children age 10 and under are free with an adult. Up to three children can come with a single adult, but that adult is responsible for those children.
